Other memories of the wedding weekend

Minesh, Amar and I all get dressed in really fancy traditional Indian clothes and pile into an elevator. A bunch of kids get on the next floor, dressed in hockey gear.

Minesh (as we are all getting off): Hey, good luck with your game!

Little kid: Thanks! (looks at us) …Good luck with whatever you’re doing!

Amar’s sister: You guys should read the book  “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” I really liked it.

Me: Oh yeah, I heard it was awesome. They’re making a movie of it aren’t they?

Amar: What was it called? the Girl with the Butterfly Tattoo?

Amar’s sister: That would just be “The Girl with the Tramp Stamp.”

  1. Super delayed response, but they already made a movie of it in Swedish. It’s streaming on Netflix (or at least it was a few months back).

I’d be interested to know what you think of the book. Mostly because I didn’t like it, and I’m looking for people to join my overly-critical camp.
