Last night I got some grossed out looks from people when I offered them some of my chicken mcnuggets. Why? Because it ain’t real chicken.

What other horrifying things are in the chicken mcnugget? Let me quote from this sloppy google search I did

The “meat” in the McNugget alone contains seven ingredients, some of which are made up of yet more ingredients. (Nope, it’s not just chicken. It’s also such nonchicken-related stuff as water, wheat starch, dextrose, safflower oil, and sodium phosphates.)The “meat” also contains something called “autolyzed yeast extract.” Then add another 20 ingredients that make up the breading, and you have the industrial chemical—we mean, fast-food meal—called the McNugget.

Oh no! it contains…WATER. Chickens are NOT made of water, as we all know real chicken meat is dehydrated. And seriously people, just because there is other stuff in it,  isn’t it stuff we have eaten before. Dextrose? Really?  Is that scary to anyone?

I mean, I eat the vegetarian chicken nuggets. They contain dextrose and water too. But health nuts aren’t labeling them as chemical compounds. Daniel however, feels they are weapons of mass destruction.

Well, I know the chicken mcnugget isn’t made of chicken. I think they’re really tasty breaded fried things with a little bit of chicken meat in them. We do this to all many foods- add breading, sauces, stuffing, filler. It’s called cooking. Not healthy, but not terrifying either.
