There was a time when I considered snowflakes and babies being born as part of life’s every day miracles.  And then we had the neverending winter weather. And then I had a month of newborn. This killed a little part of the miracle for me. Ok, quite a bit. But not for forever. Maybe someday I’ll be able to enjoy them again.

Not to say that newborn was painful. We had fun students and a good team overall. And a good amount of downtime for hanging out.

After one delivery where the baby was encased in that cheesy stuff, Courtney came up with the idea of bottling it and using it as beauty cream. It even sounds fancy: Vernix Caseosa. By Elizabeth Arden.

I can imagine us making a pseudo-commercial of this for the end of the year video, but those commercials tend to have scantily clad people posing suggestively with the wind blowing in their hair, and since the person with the most sex appeal in our residency is leaving (Uday), I just don’t know if we could get it to work.
