I came a bit late to the banquet, by accident, which was good timing in that I got to see everyone but didn’t have to sit there long enough to take up Erin and Gina’s joke advice that I show up to my ER shift red and splotchy.

I brought chocolates for Dr. Brown and Dr. Sparkman as thank you gifts, but left them in my car in my rush to run up to the team room and change from a dress to the more functionally appropriate scrubs. So they melted in my car and since they were melted and no longer giftable I ate them for breakfast today.

I can’t wait for our graduation banquet. It’ll be funny, touching, and a big relief all rolled into one.
